Rocky Mountain Faster and Faster 2018

Backpacking by permit in Wild Basin, Rocky Mountain National Park. Got some moose pictures at Ouzel Lake! After exhausting the trails there, moved on to car camping at Moraine Park, where we hiked the Lily Pond Cub Lake trails and saw a huge herd of elk, ruled over by a massive bull with antlers out to there. Winding down at Timber Creek campground, where we visited the Holzwarth Historical Site. Last night near Denver at Chief Hosa Campground, where we spent hours watching a chipmunk pull a Mrs. Dash bottle into his lair (it was NOT ours!) Took a tour through the Red Rock theatre area before hitting the airport home.
